  • May 18 Perrigo (PRGO -0.2%) has received final FDA approval for its abbreviated new drug application for Lansoprazole capsules for the treatment of frequent heartburn. Shipments of the product to customers have already begun. This new product for the U.S. store brand market is the equivalent to Novartis' (NVS) Prevacid 24 hour capsules.
