Wall Street Breakfast: Must-Know Newsby SA Editor Rachael Granby- Bank trio becomes duo. Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets. Wells Fargo, with a bid valued at $11.4B, expects the purchase to be completed by the end of the year, and denies it will have to absorb assets shakier than originally thought.
- Government considers next steps. As the financial crisis continues to worsen, the U.S. government is considering two dramatic steps to turn around, or at least slow, the damage: guaranteeing billions of dollars in bank debt and temporarily insuring all U.S. bank deposits. The moves, which would mark the government's most extensive intervention to date, are in discussion stages only.
- Credit stays frozen. As frozen credit markets refuse to thaw, the cost of default protection on corporate bonds reaches new global records amid investor concerns the credit crisis will trigger corporate failures as companies struggle to finance their businesses. Interbank lending remains limited, and borrowing from the Fed's expanded discount window continued its trend of setting new highs every week, as the total daily average rose to $420.2B vs. $367.8B last week.

Aspect Medical To Buy Back Shares From Boston Scientific
I find it amazing how research firms cover more worthless stock than those that warrant coverage like"ASPM'. Millions of experts out there
getting paid big money and the little investor is left confused, making the wrong investment decisions and losing hard earned money.
If investors could earn 25% or more year after year, and focus on just a handful of stocks, taking profits once per year, not watch T.V. as much, not rely on Research firms at all, they would be better off.
'PLAIN & SIMPLE INVESTING'
IN THIS ENVIRONMENT, YOU HAVE TO BE REAL SELECTIVE WITH YOUR STOCK PICKS, BECAUSE UNTIL THE FINANCIAL STOCKS TAKE OFF THE STOCK MARKET IN GENERAL WILL GO SIDEWAYS.
Smart Biotech Investing: Avoiding One-Product Wonders (NSTK, GILD, AMGN, DNA; ETF: IBB)
Roger Nusbaum 'your not overlooked for your precise call on NSTK in March 2006," (AVOID ONE PRODUCT WONDERS) I APPLAUD YOU!
I 'WONDER' HOW MANY INVESTORS LISTENED TO YOUR ARTICLE?
MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE A NIGHTLY T.V.SHOW, "HOW TO INVEST WISELY!"
ANYWAY THANK YOU AND MAY YOU CONTINUE TO ENLIGHTEN THE
'SMALL INVESTOR' WITH YOUR PRECISE AND UNSELFISH PREFERENCES.
Morgan Stanley's Top Long Ideas For 2008
Parker Hills story on XNPT only confirms my theory over and over for 2007.
Research firms for the most part do not know what their doing and are over paid to boot.
Case in Point:Friedman Billings downgraded XNPT on Dec.3rd.
Outperform to market perform.
Now at this point who will you rely on, Morgan Stanley or Friedmans & billings?
No brainer!
What mutual funds or companies rely soley on Friedmans&billings...
There are plenty of mis-calls based on their downgrades or upgrades or especially their target prices.
Example: Not just past year but how about past two years on "NSTK' alone.
And if you follow Cramer your cooked unless your short on the stock while you buy the shares for the immediate rise do to his Touting.
The small investor has so many obstacles to endure along the way but if they just read articles like this gentleman wrote today,
there would be less financial horrors in ones portfolio.
Thanks parker Hill!
A Super(Gen) Play on Cancer Biotech Consolidation
others who have horrific balance sheets and a management team who is counter-productive to its
own company. Most important to me on biotech's is pipeline, success with past phases and results, little or no debt, and high REO(return on equity).
You did a superb due diligence on this company.
Thank you again and I hope you can continue to be the Beacon of Light in the future for all investors who are privileged to read your articles on the Seeking Alpha Site.

Aspect Medical To Buy Back Shares From Boston Scientific
There is much to discuss but if one checks out every aspect of this stock, it would easily be evident that growth and appreciation are the order of the day!
Why The Commercial Real Estate Market Will Obviously Fall
Interesting article no doubt. But as a Real Estate Broker for the past 29 years, I'd like to give a little more credit to my buyers compared to the caliber of buyers your speaking about. There are many buyers who do know what they are doing and if the numbers do not make sense, then there is no deal to be had. Plain & simple! If properties do not have 6% or more I wouldn't even bather placing a call to my customers. I have a reputation that has taken 29 years to build. And even if I could take the advantage of pushing a property on a buyer who doesn't know any better, I do not practice that kind of scamming habits. It is because of my ethical practices that I flourish in Real Estate and receive vast amounts of referrals as a result. Lastly, I totally disagree that Commercial Real Estate will fall as you say, rather an adjustment of sorts, do to the lack of Professionalism of a Realtor not doing his job correctly when taking a listing at the right price. When the inexperienced Realtor stops letting owners dictate to them, there will be more balance in order. I have told owners for 29 years, when necessary, do you tell a surgeon how to do a procedure on yourself, or do you let the experienced professional do his job the way it's supposed to be done?
If the owner is not realistic, I do not take the listing, period!
Never, ever.
Enjoy your day Reggie!
Jim Cramer's Mad Money In-Depth, 11/7/07: The Gisele-Cuomo Selloff
This statement was made 24 hours after P&G dropped NST and NSTK lost about $6 dollars or 45%. Hence Nstk is now down to $3.70 cents or
another 52%. Yes Wait & See has been the order of the day.
What ever happened to sell and take your loss now?
What ever happened to sell and buy back in after the dust settles?
This is an investment advisors' Professional opinion?
And let's not forget he wanted you in NSTK on Oct.3rd. not ISIS. Look where ISIS is today compared to NSTK. At the rate of Debacles continuing, I think the networks will use Cramer's phrase as 'Wait & See' for the ratings to drop too.
Authentidate: Attractive, With Little Downside Risk
I congratulate you on your article. I have come to the same conclusion back in August 2007. In this volatile market currently, I believe you've come across the most potentially explosive stock that will reach profit proportions that will
make headlines and make many investors literally rich!
You should be commended for researching this stock the way you did and seeking alpha should give you your own T.V. show like Cramer's. Your assumptions are based on actual facts and not just pumping&touting. There lies the difference between you and Jim Cramer.
GOOD JOB, WELL DONE!!!!!!

Nastech takes a Beating after Experiencing Wider than Expected Third Quarter Losses
We can all sing "I'm in the money now".
Delusions of the greatest proportions now being pitched! Now they are going to restructure after the damage has been done.
After investors have lost their confidence in NSTK
to date, who in their right mind would pay attention to a company gone just about belly up?
Burn rate continues to eat away like a cancer to complete the death!
ViroPharma Incorporated: Value in a Pharmaceutical
I thought I missed the Wedding and was possibly attending the funeral on this stock, however it was only a longer engagement instead before the Wedding in my view. Not so in the case of NSTK.
This is one stock you personally would never make an accept-ion to in the future. The now WHITE ELEPHANT around Cramer's neck. He & his staff didn't do their job right or did they succeed in what they wanted to achieve?
Only Cramer knows!
Jim Cramer's Mad Money In-Depth, 11/7/07: The Gisele-Cuomo Selloff
Brilliant!
With No P&G payment, current expenses regarding the company and testing, a March 2008 Year End Earnings report for December 2007,which will be Poor, I believe either the stock goes to $4dollars, and they definitely have to raise new issues of stock to stay alive, or they go Bankrupt. The evidence has been overwhelming these past 3 months, that NEGATIViTY has overshadowed NSTK immensely. After the bad news and the big drop investors are told to wait & see? Cramer needs to be addressed by the SEC for making a mockery out of this stock to investors.
Instead of just saying I MADE A BAD CALL, he wants you to wait & see. I don't think Cramer's followers aren't listening to him anymore, do you?
Investing in Autism Treatment
Yet just this weekend Feuerstein's mailbag states nstk is only in phase 1 re:Autism. Which means if you invested because of the article or the numerous times Jim Cramer said to get in nstk because of Autism, you really and truly have a long wait!
My argument from day one has been why tie up your money in something that may or may not happen in 7 years. Evidence of similar Hype in the past is the longs who bought 6 years ago. The company and price is just about the same.
Unless your a day trader or channeling expert you've made money on the HYPE. As a long investor, your mislead and your aboard a very long period of time with plenty of wild fluctuations and must have patience of a saint!
Nastech takes a Beating after Experiencing Wider than Expected Third Quarter Losses
After viewing the uncanny behavior of Cramer for the past 10months Touting & showing Video's on
NSTK, it was refreshing to get the real story straight as opposed to chronic touting above and beyond reasoning.
Jim Cramer's Mad Money In-Depth, 10/31/07: Welcome to the Rate Cut
They are in early stages of phase 2 only, their earnings report was double the loss expected, and yet he continues to beat the drums on NSTK.
The only motivation I can see is the root of all evil, MONEY! It's unexplainable! The stats are pathetic, the ratings are poor and he keeps hitting the drums. WHY?
Nastech Pharmaceutical Q3 2007 Earnings Call Transcript
THEY ARE IN EARLY STAGES, NEED LOTS OF MONEY FOR RESEARCH AND PARTNERSHIPS THAT WILL FINALLY MAKE PAYMENTS INSTEAD OF DEFERRING PAYMENTS. HOWEVER IT IS IN MY OPINION THAT FDA APPROVALS ARE NOT AROUND THE CORNER ANY TIME SOON THEREFORE I COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH JIM CRAMER AS I HAVE SINCE MARCH 16TH 2007. THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO PURCHASE NSTK IT'S WAY TO PREMATURE. THE PROOF IS SINCE CRAMER MENTIONED TO BUY THIS STOCK AT $10 DOLLARS OR SO 9MONTHS AGO IT HAS FLUCTUATED WILDLY AND NOW IT'S AT $12 AND CHANGE. RISK IS ONE THING BUT PHASES COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY IS A SLOW ONGOING PROCESS AND NSTK'S STATS MUST IMPROVE FIRST. MY BIGGEST QUESTION AT THIS POINT IS WHAT IF P&G DOESN'T MAKE THE $5 MILLION AGREED PAYMENT NEXT YEAR? DOES NSTK RUN OUT OF MONEY AT THE END OF 2008 AND ISSUE NEW SHARES ONCE AGAIN IN JANUARY 2009?
READING ABOVE AT SOME OF THE ANSWERS SEEMS TO BE REDUNDENT, IT'S NOT CLEAR, I DON'T KNOW, YOU'D HAVE TO ASK P&G, AND SO ON. BUT I FEEL CRAMER SHOULD GET THE 'JEFF WENIG' AWARD NEXT YEAR FOR TOUTING THIS STOCK FOR 10 MONTHS STRAIGHT AND INCLUDING VIDEO'S ABOUT PUMPING NSTK TOO. FOR THAT ALONE HE SHOULD BE AWARDED THE PRESTIGEOUS AWARD FOR SINGLE HANDIDLY TOUTING A INDIVIDUAL STOCK (nstk)APPROXIMATELY 36 TIMES TO DATE. WHAT A PUBLIC RELATIONS GUY HE HAS BEEN FOR nstk!
